Recently, I saw the new Star Trek movie. Who has the characters of the original television series. As he watched, something looked interesting. For many stories which are very popular in popular culture, usually develops a need to know what happened before the story began. The most successful franchises, Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter and the participation of the idea of a prequel, "to some extent. While some may not have a completely independent the books or films, usually the idea of "what happened before" people need to know.

The Gospel of John, which of course was the last gospel, or the latest church of Gospel has chosen to keep his Canon, went further: "In the beginning was the Word ..." reflection of the first sentence of Genesis. You can not go much further than that.
It is interesting to see how the development of the stories behind religion to follow the same pattern of growth and development modern history books and movies. Of course, if you choose to believe that this is proof that all religions are composed entirely of garbage, or which shows more beyond a shadow of a doubt that God's hand is in fact in everything around us is you. One thing is certain, but dig beneath the surface of the stories are for granted, more mystery and wonder that it finds.
