The logical way to go about this from my experience, is a division of RCA, so I assume that's what you're using. Your problem may be 1) VCR, 2) cable,. Or 3) tape first thing to check is whether line Done by connecting the VCR to the TV. If the audio comes through OK, and then the cable will be OK. If you are using a VCR as a source to verify that the tape is OK. If the test does not work, replace the suspect component. One at a time, this should be so you know which one is a mistake.
